How we write on Growth Method, and what we will and won't publish.

Everything published on Growth Method is written by us, for marketers who want to get better at their craft. We write about what we’re actually doing, what’s working, and what isn’t. It’s drawn from building Growth Method, advising B2B teams, and running campaigns ourselves. No ghostwriters, no AI slop, no recycled listicles.

That independence is the only reason the writing is worth reading, so we protect it carefully.

We receive hundreds of “collaboration opportunity” requests every month. Most ask us to feature a company, add a backlink, or slip a sponsored link into an existing article or listicle (agency roundups and SaaS lists are favourites), in exchange for a link back from a “high-authority” site or a small “admin fee”. A typical one looks like this:

Hi Stuart,

I hope you’re having a great week!

I’ve been following Growth Method and really enjoy the content you publish, particularly your insights on growth strategies.

I’m reaching out on behalf of [Company Name], where we recently published a comprehensive guide on [Topic]. While reviewing your blog, I noticed your article on [Article Title] would be a fantastic fit for our readers.

Would you be open to a quick link collaboration? We’d love to feature Growth Method on our end in exchange for a relevant link insertion in your article, or we are more than happy to discuss standard placement terms if you have a sponsored fee structure.

Let me know your thoughts or if you’d like to see the draft piece.

Best regards,

The answer is always the same: no guest posts, no paid placements, no link exchanges, not for any price. Our readers’ trust isn’t for rent, so we don’t reply to these.

What we’d rather hear about

If you’re reaching out because you work in marketing, there’s a much better conversation to be had:

  • Agencies and long-term partnerships: if you run campaigns for clients, we’d like to swap notes on what’s working and explore how we could work together over the long term
  • Product feedback: we’re always looking for feedback from smart marketers. Jump on a call, we’ll show you how we and our customers use the platform, and you tell us what you think (the good, the bad and the ugly)
  • Content collaboration: not a backlink, but something genuinely valuable that you’d be proud to share with your team and customers. An evergreen piece we create together, inviting Stuart onto your podcast, or an offer for your customers

The best way to start that conversation is to try Growth Method yourself. Get started today, see how it fits the way you (or your clients) run campaigns, then book a call with Stuart, our founder, to talk about where we could work together.
