Subscribers

Send automated weekly campaign updates to people without a Growth Method login.

Subscribers receive your team’s weekly growth report automatically, without needing a Growth Method login. Subscribers are free and unlimited.

Why proactive updates matter

Most of your team’s work is invisible to the people who fund it. Leaders, founders, and cross-functional partners rarely see the campaigns in flight, only the occasional headline result. Subscribers close that gap: a short, consistent update reaches them every week, without anyone chasing it or assembling it by hand.

That regular visibility matters more than any single report. Proactively sharing the work keeps stakeholders informed, builds trust, and raises the perceived value of the team. It answers “what is marketing working on?” before anyone has to ask.

Worth adding as subscribers:

  • The founder, exec, or manager your team reports to
  • Cross-functional partners in sales, product, or finance
  • Clients or external stakeholders you report to

How it works

Add subscribers in the app’s settings, or let people subscribe themselves through a shared campaign link. Each week, subscribers get a copy of your team’s growth report, including:

  • Your team’s growth goal
  • Campaigns that are currently live
  • Your team leaderboard

Growth Method generates a secure, auto-expiring link subscribers use to view in-progress or completed campaign details. See reports for what the email contains.

Subscriber security

When your team is set up, subscriptions are usually limited to your company’s email domain, so colleagues can subscribe but the wider public can’t. Anyone outside the allowed list who tries to subscribe sees: “Sorry, subscriptions are limited to specific email addresses or domain names at this time”.

A few things to know:

  • Subscriber rules are checked at each send. If the rules are tightened, anyone now outside them stops receiving emails.
  • Everyone on the team is emailed when a new subscriber is added.
  • View and remove individual subscribers under Team settings, then Subscribers.
  • People can subscribe to more than one team, if each team allows it.

Who can subscribe

The rule for who can subscribe is set when your team is created. The Growth Method team can change it for you on request:

Setting Who can subscribe
None Nobody
Your company domain (typical default) Anyone with an address at that domain
Multiple domains Anyone at any of the listed domains
Specific addresses Only the addresses you list
Open Anyone
